CCEI stands for Comptoir Commercial pour l’Exportation et l’Importation.
2 - Who owns CCEI ?
CCEI is a subsidiary of Presstalis. Its VAT Number is : FR 74 552 082 828 .
CCEI does all its business through the activity of the Import Department (a team + about 150 internal correspondents).
4 - How does CCEI report its activity ?
Every month CCEI dispatches two documents :
The CRD (in French : Compte-Rendu de Distribution) in English it is entitled monthly reconciliation. This document gives the amount of supplies and returns per issue ; this works per month. For February this document departs from our company on 15th March.
The CCR (in French : Compte-Courant Récapitulatif), in English it is entitled statement of account. This document confirms the amount of our monthly payment and the account still pending (because the corresponding issues are still on sale, or deliveries suspended). This document is also monthly and departs our company with payment, for example on 20th February (for January).
In France, CCEI can deliver your title to any of the 30 000 outlets. We can also go to about 25 000 outlets supplied from more 100 importers all over the world.(international export )
The range is from 120 for a specialized title, to 4000 for a major newspaper in full summer.
On average it is 30 to 40% Paris and the rest in the provinces ; please note that in our segmentation SPPS stands for PARIS city + close suburbs. The airports (Orly and Roissy) are reported within the Province figures.

We base distribution on sales of other titles in the same market. The result is adjusted according to local specification or particular wishes that the publisher may have.
All titles with a strong Summer season are piloted through a regulation system that we have developed specifically for the foreign titles. Proposals generated by the system are followed through in the field by our commercial team.
In 2010 we have 80 newspapers and 990 magazines
